Privacy policy

1. Preamble

Altia Nova (hereinafter “Altia Nova”) places fundamental importance on protecting the personal data of its website visitors, prospects, clients and partners.

The purpose of this privacy policy is to inform you, clearly and transparently, about the nature of the data collected, the purposes of its processing, its retention period, the rights you have and the means to exercise them.

It is drawn up in accordance with:

  • Moroccan law no. 09-08 of 18 February 2009 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, and its implementing decree;
  • Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 (the General Data Protection Regulation, or “GDPR”), where applicable.

3. Data collected

Altia Nova only collects the data strictly necessary for the purposes described below. To date, the altianova.com website collects the following categories of data:

  • Data provided via the contact form or by email: surname, first name, email address, phone number, company name, job title, message content.
  • Technical browsing data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, pages viewed, date and time of connection, referring site. This data is collected in the technical logs of our host Vercel for security and proper operation of the site, and is not cross-referenced with any other data.

The altianova.com website currently uses no audience analytics, advertising tracking or marketing measurement tool. Should this change, this policy would be updated and your prior consent would be obtained for cookies that are not strictly necessary.

4. Purposes of processing

Your data is processed exclusively to:

  • respond to your requests for contact, information or quotes;
  • ensure the commercial follow-up of Altia Nova’s prospects and clients;
  • send you, if you have consented, information about Altia Nova’s news and services;
  • ensure the security, maintenance and proper operation of the site;
  • comply with our legal, regulatory and tax obligations.

5. Legal basis for processing

The processing carried out rests on:

  • your consent, when you write to us spontaneously or explicitly agree to receive our communications;
  • the performance of pre-contractual measures or of a contract when you approach us about a project;
  • our legitimate interest in ensuring the proper operation and security of our site;
  • our legal obligations, in particular tax and accounting ones.

6. Data recipients

Your personal data is never sold, rented or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.

It may be shared, strictly within the limits of the purposes described:

  • with authorised employees of Altia Nova;
  • with our technical subcontractors, acting on our instructions and bound by a confidentiality obligation (hosting, email sending, internal sales management tools);
  • with the competent administrative or judicial authorities when the law requires it.

7. Retention period

Data is kept for the following periods:

  • Unconverted contact requests: 3 years from the last exchange.
  • Data of clients and prospects in an active commercial relationship: for the whole duration of the relationship, plus the legal limitation periods.
  • Accounting and tax data: 10 years in accordance with Moroccan legal obligations.
  • Technical hosting logs: a limited period defined by Vercel, generally between a few days and a few months.

8. Transfers outside Morocco and outside the EU

Our host Vercel Inc. is a US company. Your technical browsing data may therefore be processed on servers located in the United States or in other countries where Vercel operates, outside Morocco and outside the European Economic Area.

Vercel adheres to the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and to the transatlantic data protection framework (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework), ensuring an adequate level of protection.

9. Data security

Altia Nova implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against any unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss or destruction: encryption of exchanges (HTTPS/TLS), access restriction, logging, regular backups, staff awareness.

10. Your rights

In accordance with law 09-08 and the GDPR where applicable, you have the following rights over your personal data at any time:

  • Right of access: obtain confirmation as to whether or not your data is being processed, and receive a copy of it.
  • Right of rectification: have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
  • Right to erasure: have your data deleted, within the limits provided by law.
  • Right to object: object to the processing of your data on grounds relating to your particular situation, in particular to any prospecting activity.
  • Right to restriction: request the temporary suspension of the processing of your data.
  • Right to portability: retrieve your data in a structured and commonly used format, where applicable.
  • Right to withdraw your consent: at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
  • Right to lodge a complaint with the CNDP (www.cndp.ma) or any competent supervisory authority.

To exercise these rights, write to contact@altianova.com with “Personal data” in the subject line. We will respond within a maximum of one month.

11. Cookies and trackers

The altianova.com website currently uses no advertising cookies, no audience measurement cookies, and no third-party tracking cookies.

Only cookies strictly necessary for the proper operation of the site (display preferences, security) may be placed. These cookies do not require your prior consent in accordance with the regulations.

Should we decide in the future to add audience measurement tools or third-party cookies, a compliant consent mechanism would be put in place and this policy updated.

This policy may be amended to reflect changes in our services or in the regulations. The date of last update is shown at the top of the document. We invite you to consult it regularly.
